October 1st - The Galway Model Flying Club well be hosting a Helicopter Fun Fly on the 27th & 28 October.

As to date the following Team Pilots will be Demoing the following.

Duncan Osbourn - Synergy N9 & T-rex 600
Steven Gerrard - Avant Aurora & T-rex 600
David Nolan - MA Stratus & Ion x 2
Chris Walton - Avant Aurora
P.J.Harte - Thunder power eXtreme 450

Also attending is the one and only Andy Hornyak and 3DX winner John O'Rourke who I'm sure will provide exciting enterainment over the weekend. Chris & Jamie of Fast-lad performance have decided to fly over so the shop will be staying behind but if you need any bits taken over I'm sure they would be glad to help you out.

Jan 1st- We have uploaded a new site design and implemented a new picture gallery. We hope you like it.

2004

Sept 20th - Our First AGM took place yesterday and we are now officially sponsored by Modelworld. Modelworld sell a wide range of RC products and are based in the Lisbaun Industrial estate in Galway City.

Other items on the agenda included the constuction of a new shed for storage, club fees and various improvements to the flying field.

Sept 16th - We will be holding our first A.G.M this Sunday the 19th at the flying field. Items on the agenda are relating to field fees, club rules, safety issues etc.

Sept 15th - I have been informed that there will be a helicopter funfly in the Shannon Model Flying club on the 25th of September.

** Informal event for all Model Helicopter Pilots
** Flying will be off the Peg all day.
** Current MACI Insurance will be required to Fly.
** A/B Exams may be possible (time permitting)
