Rules
The Galway Model Helicopter club is an accredited MACI (Model Aeronatics Counci of Ireland) field so we abide by all the MACI rules. You can view the MACI rules in the following PDF document.
We also have a few rules for ourselves which all members must abide by.
1. Only Registered MACI members can fly at the field for insurance reasons.
2. No overflying of the main road.
3. All members are responsible for choosing an unallocated frequency for use in their models. It is also your responsability to insure nobody is on the same channel before turning on your transmitter.
4. All models must be kept at a safe distance from the pits. Approx 15m.
5. When a car enters the field please bring your model into a hover and allow the car to park.
